So this is going to by my slow winter build. I'm going to try a newish construction method: Glass covered Depron. There are guys here doing amazing things with the stuff and it's dirt cheap. It's going to be three channel for the slope and I'm aiming for a 3 - 4 kilos finished weight. Length will be 94" and wingspan 64".

I'll be working from this three view:

I'm a bit stuck on a colour scheme, any suggestions?

Cheers

On the colour scheme side of things, I do rather like the look of the Royal Navy scheme, with the light underside and dark top (blue I imagine). Also came across an interesting model:

Even more interesting is a post that fell out during my search. Worth a look even just for the pictures, all of which I've not seen before.

Worth a post in the main SAAF section of this forum perhaps?

I do like that scheme (the red and blue) of the Empire Test Pilot School. I'm torn between that and the early SAAF scheme like on 426 I think.

Printed out the enlarged three view today and busy gluing it together. Hand for comparison, this thing is going to be just a bit big!

Bits posed together, looking like a Bucc!
