She's coming along nicely, Monique.

I know us men folk call planes birds, girls and refer to them as she, her, etc. We do that because we LOVE them, and thus we refer to this love affair in the female person.

Do women refer to planes as females or male? Just curious?

ships and aircraft are always refered to as female

Yeeehaaa, home straight!

I've been painting these white lines and fixing paint bleeds the past few days. Just need to spray the reg under the port wing but it's howling with wind and rain is pouring outside.

The colours look different but it's just an 'illuminant metameric failure'

I'll start adding cabin glazing tonight.

99% complete! Just need to do the spinners, exhaust stubs, nav and landing lights.

I'm quite chuffed with how it's come out, could have done with another former just aft of the nose to help with the curve at the bottom of the fus, I'll add that to the plan when I finalise it.

AUW so far is 56g.

Looking sweet Monique !!

After the correct props arriving this week and spending half a day learning to bend reverse S hooks, she is now just about complete! Just have to do the nav and strobe lights and install motor pegs.







Now to find some nice long grass that isn't frozen for testing...
