I have many unbuilt airliners in my stash. I build in 1/144 for single asile aircraft & 1/200 for twin asile aircraft.

First up is my Revell 737-800 with decals from Draw Decals. I have a second sheet if someone is interested.
The winglets, Revell go it wrong, I found out while I was applying the decals. There are aftermarket winglets, or reshape them. I also read the engine shape, the flatish part under side of engine is too flat, it's shape is more in line with the previous generation of 737, pre the -600/-700/-800/-900 that is.

This is the old Airfix 737-200, with decals from Liveries Unlimited, I believe the name is.

The fuselage of this 747 SP is resin, from Sasquatch, they are not around any more. This in 1/200, they had 1/144 as well, and I see them from time to time on ebay. The wings, engines and wheels come from Hasegawa. Decals from F-Decal.
If anyone is interested, I have this decal sheet in 1/144.

Old Airfix kit that started life off as an airliner, then Airfix came out not too long ago with it as a RAF tanker.
So I got hold of the tanker kit, removed the refulling bump, back to an airliner. Decals are "Jet Set Decals".

Old Airfix Caravelle, with decals from F-Decal.

Old Airfix 727-200, out of the box. I did consider converting it to a -100 to make an SAA aircraft, too much work at the time.

Old Airfix Concord, out of the box. I like BA's scheme.

I have a pile of airliners waiting to be built. I have a set with two scheme's for the DC-3, pre orange tail.
A BAC-111, perhaps MAV can produce a "Nationwide" set for this aircraft.
I may one day strip my SAA 737-800 and turn it into "Mango", build my A-319 as SAA as a replacement.
I also have B-707, a number of 747''s, would like to make my MD-11 as present Air Namibia.

The SAL 737-200 is my favourite! I've got to get my hands on the Airfix 737 or 727!
The 747SP is something you don't see everyday. All of them looks great! Thanks for sharing the pictures :smt023

Definately the orange tail! Other kits are also exellent.

I got hold of two Airfix 727-100's on eBay, as well as 5 727-200's. I am trying my hand at resin casting and will try to copy the 727-100 fuselage halves. Some of the 727-200's wil "donate" wings, engines etc. to the resin 727-100's if successful.

The SAA old livery 727 decals from F-decal have also arrived. I have also made a few odds and ends on white decal paper which seems to work fine - most airliners use a white backround in any case - will see how that turns out.

End of April will leave me with a few days off - can't wait to start building again.....

Cheers,

Andre

Almost forgot.

If anyone is interested in Airfix 727-200's, I got mine from this seller on eBay, Mike Marlow, - unboxed at a very good price and he has quite a few.

http://www.ebay.com/sch/m.html?_sop=1&_ ... =200&rt=nc

Also Henry Tomkiewicz (same guy who does the Flightsim AI stuff)

http://www.ebay.com/sch/htomkiewicz/m.h ... ksid=p3686

Both go out of their way to acommodate special requests. Kits and decals arrived in less than two weeks - normal airmail nogal!

Hope some of you can use this..... :)

I saw ending in just over 23 hours from now on the above, decals for Air Malawi VC-10, Air Namibia 737 (Old), LAM 767, SAA orange tail 737-200

Did you see the price for the Otaki L-1011 Tristar in 1/144? I know it is in extremly high demand, the molds were lost. $199,95. :smt087
