The Puma's?

Thought that you wouldn't take short cuts!

For the model builders, these cut outs are not present on the Oryx, only on the Puma.

Why do I get the feeling that my 1/400th scale helicopter would be scoffed at for all the details just being painted on? xD

Some really great builds emerging here gents, keep up the good work!!

Well after moving and settling into the new house I've cracked on with the Alouette. Mainly more work on the engine and repairing damaged parts from the move.

Engine detailing is pretty much complete now just a few little pieces to add.

I've manage to add few more PE pieces to the frame

Here is where I'm at with the cabin, I'm scratch building the rear seat and have added some tie down rings from the PE spares box. Colour should the seats be? I'm going to redo the "material" section so I can get neater holes for where the seat belts go through.

Thanks for Looking

This is the cut outs AT6C refers to (the 2 square ones infront of the engine cowls)

To keep a protective strip in place on the undersides of the skids.

Used a x 10 macro filter on my lens to take those pics - really gets close in to the detail - this is 1/72 - only just noticed the overpainting on front seat & rotor drive shaft!

Couldnt spot this with my glasses / normal eyesight?

Now tidied up!
