Seems very nice! But at $59 it is a tad pricy for my skill level  Think I will do the Academy 21 in Angolan collours first

Ja, its a bit expensive, I really want some of the armament off the Eduard Mig21 to use on some other projects.

Eg, the unusual shaped drop tank, the S-24 rockets and the multiple bomb racks incl the bombs...so if anyone buys this kit locally, I would like to buy these parts from them.

The Academy kit is very nice. I built one a couple of years ago with the Neomega resin cockpit and it was a really easy, fun build. Well recommended.

I have read a few reviews on it and except for a few "inacuracies" it seems good.
The cockpit is just a bit bare to leave the cockpit onpen. What does a resin kit cost and where do you get it from???

I've shelled out and bought one....

She looks stunning in the box. I'm no expert on Migs, but I've read alot of reviews and it agreed to be the best Mig 21 in its scale.

That being said, so is the Italeri F1.. because it is the ONLY one in its scale.

So... I'm very impressed with what you get in the box. The moulding is crisp, the panel lines are not too deep (Airfix...)... Ed have really stepped up to Hase/Tam standards... especially as this is my first Ed kit.

In the box... you get a nicely laid out cockpit there looks to be alot of detail, and then because its the profi-pak you get a nice set of PE parts to use all over the bird, as well as some resin rocket pods.

I am excited about this kit, but it will remain in the stash until I get some good builds under my belt and polish my skills a bit more. It is too expensive a kit to do a half-assed job. Same as my Tam F-16s, and Hase F-14.

Started mine (sort of) last night - will post some "start up" pics and progress as I move along. Dry fitting parts has indicated very good fit for fuselage
