I am doing this build so I can do a 1/48 WW1 collection.
Unlike the exelent revell reboxing of the Eduard Albatross this cammel is an ancient Aurora rebox.
Very chunky and detail is very limited.
The rib detail is also way overdone and had to be sanded down

I sprayed the botto fabric with tamiya tan and then masked off the tapes. Then i added a little HU 93 to some tamiya tan to look like clear doped linnen.
hen the making s removed it gives a nice look to the tapes.

not yet the struts just slot into the fuse sides

I got the basic scheme on the camel, this is one of those where one can do a top colour from almost chocolate brown to olive green and it will be right.

I took the green a little arround the bottom edges of the tail , fuse and wings to look like the tapes that would have been doped on all the joints. The SE5 in meusum has it the same.

I got the modt of the rigging completed and hve glosscoated the whole thing, now waiting for that to cure so I can do the decals and final bit of rigging.
