Hi Guys,

I have a rather nit picky trivial question but for the sake of a little accuracy I'm taking the shot. I am currently busy with an Eduard Mirage IIIC, which will be in the flashy 1964 metallic scheme. It will carry two AIM-9Bs and a Matra 530. Now my question, was the launch rail for the AIM-9B painted white or did it remain metal on the early scheme? The pylon itself would have been metal but I am just not sure about the rail. On most pictures of the IIICZ in camo the rail seems to be in white while the pylon was light Admiralty Grey. Any one have an idea?

Thanks kindly.

Hi Mistral, wilco :smt023 . I'm a bit slow unfortunately and as you also mentioned, this is not the easiest kit. I have the very first black Profipack version and extreme warpage to deal with :(.

Regards,

Pierre
