SAAF had AIM-9Bs, well I was in search of 9Bs for my Tamiya F4 Phantom, well thanks to this thread, I'll scavange my Mirage III kit for the Hunter's AIM9Bs :smt023

There's a nice AIM-9B at Swartkop on display with the V3s to give an idea of how simple the B was.

Mistral, how much weight did you put in the nose cone?

Fantastic finish. I'm especially impressed with the silver. It doesn't seem th be affected by masking tape as some other silvers. Masked markings always look better than decals.
I always prefer a scheme like this to the current grey beredom.

Be careful with Revell. Sometimes they redo really old kits in new boxes. Sometimes they rerelease other peoples kits under their own name. Always worth checking carefully before parting with your cash.

The Revell reboxing is of the Italeri kit and is not the very old Revell kit.
