Is the only visual difference between the F-86F-40 slatted wing (JASDF Sabre) and the CL-13b wing to extention of the wing by about 1' on the F-40?
Also the aileron on the CL-13 goes all the way to the tip. but is the reast of the wing sizes the same?

T

Hi T,

To my knowledge the F-40 wing was 12' longer than the CL13. The aileron on the F-40 is also separate from the wingtip.

The rest of the wing is the same.

Why don't you do one of those funky SAAF dayglo/silver target towing jobbies? Haven't seen a model of one of those yet.
