Jeff, I do not see a lot of weathering. Did you apply such or is it just not too visible in pics?

Hello Iamsam :smt006
I had a chuckle to myself regarding your question, regarding weathering. I tried it once and backed away. In many cases, SAAF aircraft were very clean. So weathering does not work. That is my excuse. :^o
I hope you are not getting obsessed with all this wonderful modlling techniques, being a starter at this hobby. Just concentrate on the basics first, when you get them right, then the next step. :smt023
There are quite a few people here that are quite willing to help you.
On a side note, that airbrush for R98, my one looks the same, but my Badger at the cheapest place goes for $45 (+/-R350) so I would be very suspicious as to the quality?

Ag, ou grootbek.

Thanks Theuns. :smt023

Yes, Jeff I heard the comment about the cleanliness of SAAF aircraft before. Someone here on the forum offered me a second hand airbrush kit for free so as soon as I receive it I will start practising. \:D/

Jeff, unfortunately I suffer from mild OCD, so being obsessed about something comes with the territory. I am completely and utterly obsessed. I'm like a child a week before christmas.

The basics of building is cool, I've built a few models before, so I understand a bit about sement and filler and so forth. Its the painting thing that I've never been alble to do, airbrush specifically. Tried a few hand paint jobs but it looked terrible. :?
