How exactly are you doing those panel lines?

Hi Oscar

When are you looking at making these kits???

How much would you be looking at for the molded glass only(wings, fuselage tail)???

Regards Roland

Hi Roland,

Well I’m trying to get it all done by the end of the year! That’s Test Flying, Fixing and starting the kits by end of this year But Iv ran into a problem Iv needed to move and that’s sucked all my Cheetah money :( If all goes well Ill still be on Date to get it done! Iv finished all the panel lines And i must say it looks awesome !!

Price wise the gear im building is 100% scale and the only ones of its kind so they are gona be expensive but the more people buy some the cheaper it will be the same with the kits. At the moment Im looking at round the Nz$800 which is pretty good! That’s The Kit in just gray primer or you can let me do the painting for you for an extra $100 I’ll do the painting in the mold so that when I pull the part the paint is all done and in a way "glued" to the jet :) if that makes sense. And I can even sell you a conversion for a P60 JetCat Turbine so you can fly this jet Electric or Turbine. And if you buy different retracts I can adjust the gear bays for your retracts all sorts of fun stuff will go into the $800 you spend so Its well priced and will be fitted with easy to get off the shelf stuff! And If say you dent a wing or the tale or scratch it I will be able to sell you just that part you want replaced! Oh and its not solid glass which makes it super heave its gona be Glass composite That means the wing will be a layer of glass then foam then carbonfiber makes a super strong but super lightweight wing :)

Iv added some quick pics of the lines I’ll try to take some better pics soon :)

Hi Hornet,

Sorry for the late Reply. Thanks ! Im drawing them on first then I tape it of( The blue stuff) Then I spray it then I sand it till the cows come home and what your left with is nice lines all over your jet :)

I must say, you're a brave man for those rivets... are you sure they are necessary? My reason for asking is, when you step away from the real aircraft, untill you see it is approx the same size as what your model is. That is usually how I judge what to put on regarding detail. The panel lines already look so impressive.
Just a thought...

How are you going to do the intake splitter-plates, as the are currently part of your canopy?

Cheers
John

Hi John,

I’ve got a super quick way of doing the rivets so they really aren’t to bad I’m almost done and its only taken me just under 2hours so...

But i was gona leave them for exactly that reason but since it’s not to bad I went ahead and did it all :)

As for the splitters well I’m gona do them as part of my ducting for the EDF It would have prob been better to do them more scale. I’ll show you how I’m gona do that when i get to the planning of it :)

Thanks for the Reply
