I like, I like  . Where do you get the resin parts? I look forward to see the end result. :smt023

What was wrong with the fuselage ?

Hi Brent,
My appologies for missing your post #-o
The first fuselage was built as a once-off originally. It was built with 1mm styrene, and would not have been suitable for making molds. Also the windows were cut after the fuselage was assembled, and they were wrong. Was less work to start from scratch than trying to fix it.

AT6C, your age is showing...

Wingman, glad you like it. I make my own molds and castings.

So, canopy master is made, and is slightly smaller to compensate for the clear plastic thickness. Landing gear, propeller and spinner is also done.

Cheers
John

Hi guys,

Next update. Added more detail to the cowl flap, and it will be adjustable. Usually its open. Also made the exhausts.

Thanks Brent,

It was time to testfit the landing gear, and it looks okay.
The canopy has been cruedly stuck down with Microscale Krital Klear so I can add the section of the wing that fits onto the canopy.

Made the first seat. Obviously I'll only build one and make a resin copy for the second.

Looks like a Kudu to me... Were there any passenger seats in the Kudu?

Not seats as what Bladerunner has made (pilot seats),more of the para seat type as found in in the C130,C160,Puma,Frelon,etc..

Bladerunner,that canopy came out well =D> =D>

Your concern now about the wings and the canopy should be gone!

Thanks guys. Your comments are valuable to make sure that the kit is on par.

The Kudu had the basic tube frame and canvas seats, but are optional to requirement. When they carry light cargo or drop "meat bombs" they have no seats.

So back to the build. I've fitted the landing lights in the port wing this morning.

Thanks AT6C.

I scribed the panel lines on the engine cowl, and primed it. Needs a bit of touch-up work, but the lines are in place.
