Hi guys,

Here is yet another one of my models just not getting done for the past year now. I dont know how it happens that you find yourself in a negative state of mind that you dont complete kits? So, hopefully posting this will get myself going and finish it along with my F-1AZ. This is the Italeri/ESCI 1/48 Mirage IIIE that I'm converting to a SAAF Cheetah E with the Scaleworx resin conversion set. Most of the filling work is done and to be sanded and a few panel lines still needs rescribing. A couple of photo-etched parts also needs to go on.

I suppose you're turning her into a C? Or are you going to do the old E version?

Hi rynopot,

I'm not sure what you are asking, because Cheetah C's and E's are totally different aircraft. Cheetah C's have a longer fuselage, larger canards, later model CHAFF/Flare dispensers, JM-6 ejection seat, different EW sensors, wrap-around windshield, Kfir style main undercarriage and doors, different refueling probe and an ATAR 09K50 engine, just to mention a few. This one is an E for sure. There is a conversion set for the Cheetah C from Scaleworx aswell, but this is not it.

Cheers
