I've had a request as to what kits of the Gripen D are available in 1/72.

Anyone have a list, perhaps for the C and D, in 1/72 and 1/48?

Hi Dean,

This may be of interest: Italeri 1/72nd Gripen D on IPMS SA.

From what I understand, the following models are available:

- Airfix 1/72 SAAB JAS 39 Gripen (Product Code 04043)
- Italeri 1/72 JAS 39 A Gripen (Product Code 0008)
- Italeri 1/72 Gripen Twin Seater (Product Code Unknown)
- Revell 1/72 SAAB JAS 39 A Gripen (Product Code Unknown)

- Italeri 1/48 JAS 39 A Gripen (Product Code 2638)
- Italeri 1/48 JAS 39 Gripen Twin Seater (Product Code 2664)

Regards,
Stratobat

You will need to do quite a bit of a modifying to the Italeri Gripen A... to turn it into a C.

I found a website (cant recall off hand).... that shows exactly what needed to be done to the A to turn it into a C.

I must admit I am pretty tempted to buy a Gripen as well, to sort of complete my SAAF Fighter jet collection.

Mirage 3 (B, C, R2Z) -Check

F1 (AZ, CZ) -Check

Cheetah (E) -Check...
