This is another one of my Ron Belling builds.
It is the 2007 kit by Special Hobby.

The engines and cowlings are resin items as are the internal details which are of good quality. The only unusable items were the propellers which I replaced with metal ones I had in my spares box.
Markings are sprayed on with self made masks.

Beautiful build!

It is great to see there are more Ron Belling fans out there. I had his book about the history of military aviation in South Africa since a child, and I often still page through it. Over the past few years I have bought a number of his limited edition prints (you can order them from the gallery in Port Elizabeth), and there are quite a few more that I would like to add to my collection.

Awesome build! =D> =D> =D>

Good to see that Special Hobby remembered the turret gun trough as the 1/72 Airfix kit doesn't have it though the new Airfix 1/48 kit is a lovely kit from what I have seen on the various sites.

What scale is the kit?
I don't know the kit but it looks like a good kit!

It would be great if Airfix do a re-tool of the 1/72 Anson kit that has the ribbed wings.

The kit is to 1/72.
From what I cold see when researching it seems like an exact copy of the 1/48 Classic Airframes kit, right down to the various resin items and build sequences.
The only advice is not to glue the fuselage insert into one fuselage first. Instead, just put it between the two fuselage parts and glue when the they are dry. That way you avoid misaligning them.

Unfortunately Airfix never seem to reduce their 1/48 kits into 1/72.
