Gentelman,

I need help. I research history of Croatian POW camp in Zagreb. Lt. Logan no. 206573V was the very last Allied airmen captured in this camp.

Please, can someone help me to find data on the plane serial and unit code he flew and loss report that would give any detail how loss happened.

Any photo of Lt. Logan and his plane would be most interesting to me.

Thank you for reading.

With kind regards,

Marko Jeras

Greetings,
I reckon this is the same Lt Logan, 7 Sqdn SAAF - here is a pic of crash landing. This was a few weeks before your MIA date. Click on photo to get larger view.

Gentelman,

here is what I found in UK National Archives, in 7th Wing documents (7th Squadron documents for May 1945 could not be found):

I got info that only Logan was captured and Lt. Stott was rescued by Yugoslavian partizans.

Also, allegedly they flew MH540 and MJ521, but I would like to know which pilot flew which plane.

Is there a chance that photos of this two planes exist?

Thank you for reading.
