I spoke to my dad. He lives down in Uvongo. He said the Oryx made a U-Turn and headed back to Margate. He said that he could hear the Oryx doesn't sound quite right. So the Oryx flew towards Margate but much lower. And that the helicopter made a decent emergency landing.

Seems like the cause was not too serious as they flew out a few hours later.

Rather safe than sorry,good work by the SAAF pilots and flight engineer which was most likely monitoring the engine instruments,and noticed a problem,a very good precaution landing is always better than an crash landing.
