My father was on those patrol boats in the navy.

here is a picture of him.He passed away in 2015.

When where they moved to Saldana ?

My dad was at SAS Flamingo at Langebaan from late '81 until '86. I think the base closed in '86 and the remainder of the boats moved to SAS Saldanha. We stayed on AFB Langebaanweg during that time he was stationed there.

...if I'm correct about the subject you talking about :?

My dad was in the navy 1953-1955 think it was before Saldanha,He was on President Kruger also a few times,he stayed on Robin Island with his mother and had a pet Penguin.He was based in Simonstown in Navy
