https://www.flickr.com/photos/145863880 ... 6022542708Wasn’t sure what to expect, had no idea what time the flypast would be and in what direction they were heading, hence the incomplete log! The PC7’s (wave 6) flew in a completely different direction to everything else just to catch me out.
Serial as follows
Wave 1: Agusta A109LUH: 4001, 4016, 4026
Wave 2: Oryx: 1204, 1235, 1240, 1241
Wave 3: C-130B: 401, 402
Wave 4: Hawk: 260, 263, 267, 268 plus 1 and then one more painted in full South Africa flag colours (either 271 or 272)
Wave 5: Gripen: 3908, 3909, 3917, 3919, 3924, 3925
Wave 6: PC-7; in '100 formation'
The number one consisted of 2010, 2014, 2052, 2054 in red/white c/s.
The first Zero' was made up of 6 Silver Falcon PC-7's tail coded 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 plus one more
The second zero consisted of six unidentified by me red/white PC-7's
Over at Kimberley airport was CASA 212 8011 and Oryx 1203
