Hi Plane crazy Thanks for the report, couple of wins here: -Without your post I don't think most of us would have even known the event happened. -first time I have seen up close photo's of the Cheetah gate guards. -Good to see hawk 267 is still in the Gannet CS. -I like the hangar shots. Was is it a big group that attended? |

Busy time ... last Friday was the 22 Squadron 75 year function, whilst AFB Makhado will commemorate 30 years of fighter excellence on Sat 14 October. Then this December will be the Silver Falcons 50th ... |

The event was by invite only- there were very few civilians If you exclude the 3 former OC's and their spouses and BAE systems rep their were literally only about 10 civilians Mostly attended by current and ex-unit members still serving in the SAAF |

Thanks Plane crazy I imagine that a lot of ex 85 CFS air and ground crew attended? -Unless a bigger gathering is planned for the 14th of Oct. I am sure great stories were told around the braai. |
