I've not had a chance to visit this forum in ages it seems - I hope everyone is doing well.

One of the YouTube channels to which I subscribe, "Aircrew Interview", published this fascinating interview with Cobus Toerien who, for those who don't know, flew Mirage F1CZ's with 3 squadron (among other types - he had a very distinguished SAAF career):


Towards the latter part of the interview, he goes into the shoot-down of the "second MiG-21" by 3 Squadron in some detail.

Thanks Mfezi - always welcome the opportunity to listen to the exploits of our guys who were there. Looking forward to part 2.
