Does anyone know whether we can take our own food/snacks into the Swartkops Airbase for the airshow?

Editor comments:
What an incredible line-up for what must certainly be one of South Africa's best ever airshows. There can be no doubt that since ABF Swartkops won the 'best airshow' award in 2011, the Swartkops SAAF management team is hell bent on retaining this converted African Pilot trophy. Don't you just love competition? In my mind it certainly brings out the very best of performance and this is what is needed in South African aviation. On behalf of the entire African Pilot team we wish the organizers of the SAAF Museum all the very best for their 'Warbirds Centenary Airshow.'

Definately not the mictolight type :)
Denel Cheetah will be operating out of OR Tambo to Zwartkops.

If it is prepared food (sandwiches, etc.) it won't be a problem.
HOWEVER,no skottelbraai's,or other utensils used to prepare food will be allowed due to safety reasons and also the Tshwane Council health regulations.
There will be Tshwane Council health inspectors doing random inspections at the ( 100 ) food vendors.

The "programme" as published by African Pilot has duplicated some items and left others out.

Dont get me wrong, I am pretty excited about this line up...it is bloody impressive and I can't wait, but it just won't be a proper Swartkop show with no Black Widow or Mirage F-1. :(
