The T-2 belongs to Ron Wheeldon (he also has a Hunter) and is based at Oudshoorn with the Chinese flight school.

What, a Chinese flight school in Oudtshoorn! What is this about?

Already up and running. The Chinese has such a demand for airline pilots that they're establishing a number of flight schools in South Africa to train their students.

AVIC International Flight Academy at Oudtshoorn already has 29 Chinese students. They plan to have five bases in the southern Cape and have already received four new Piper Warrior IIIs.

Hi guys,

85 Combat Flying School will there in full force! Feel free to make a turn at our static display, a few of us will be around to promote the fighter line and chat to the public.

(Lots of memorabilia will be on sale for those who want to take something home!)

till then!
