If 22 Squadron hate being called a Navy squadron, and get all heated insisting that they are Air Force, why do they label their choppers like that? Their current Lynx also carry "Navy" labelling, but afaik not their Oryx. |

The Super Lynx (and previously the Wasp) are operated at the direction of the Navy, the SAAF just provides the warm bodies to fly and maintain. The Oryx is under the full control of the SAAF, subject to taskings by JOps and the others arms of service. |
