SAAF Oryx 1247/UN 826 on the ramp at Goma airport, DRC on Saturday morning. On 2 Feb 2024, about 25 km north of Goma, she was hit over 40 times whilst performing a medical evac, resulting in injury to the commander and a medic in the cabin . Pity that it was not repatriated to SA with the Rooivalks. A year later and nothing has been done to repair her! |
