Good afternoon everyone

I recently purchased Mirage 206 ejection that was used by Major Arthur Piercy for my collection. However I'm struggling with the repacking of the parachutes into the seat itself as well as the seat back. Does anyone have a diagram or an old SAAf manual on how it was done back in the day. Thanks in advance

I have manuals for a few of the seat types that the SAAF used, but unfortunately not for the Mk4.

Good Evening

I was recently alerted that you have made the amazing purchase of my ejection seat!! Congrats

I see from the pictures you are trying to attach a parachute. Are you confident that parachute is for that ejection seat.

What would your reaction be if I told you I have the original parachute that belongs to that seat. Still fully packed - never ben used :P

Good evening

And welcome to the forum its a great honor.

The parachute and also the drogue chute of your seat I had to purchase from another collector in South Africa. I managed to secure the manual for the seat, and after many hours and sore thumbs the chutes were installed in the seat again.

That is amazing that you still have the original parachute for the seat and it must have massive sentimental value for you.
