As I was scanning the article of the evolution of the SAAF’s National insignia I found the following article by Dave Becker as well. The scanned article of the evolution of the SAAF’s National insignia can be found under “General model discussion”.

It is the SA Flyer, Sept 2003.

Kremlin, I don't have a "trommel". I only have "die 4de kabinet" I'm still going through the archives and it looks promising.

Here is a sneak preview of what is still following in the Squadron Histories of the SAAF Series……

87 Helicopter Flying School (May 2003)
68 Air School (Aug 2003)
AFB Ysterplaat (Nov 2003)
AFB Durban (Jan 2004) There is also two other articles by Dave Becker in the Oct 2004 edition called “Flying boats in South Africa” and June 2004 edition called “The early days of floatplanes in South Africa” that I will post under one topic.
AFB Louis Trichard (Feb 2004)

Hi Wingman; great articles, keep them coming! Is there a possibility I can get hold of high res versions of your scans? Would like to use some of the photographs in a video I am doing regarding a veteran who was an instructor at many of these airfields in 1941-1943...
