Hi guys and everyone!!! After a really long absence from the forum due to my studies, I finally have the chance to be back into this wonderful online community and into much needed building. I have a kit that I will start on soon to regain skills and get back into the game.

It will be cool to hear from guys like Portamus, AT6C, Mistral and vlamgat16

I hope everyone is well.

Kind Regards.

I got the Academy 1:72 F117A 'Ghost of Baghdad'. It is a short and looks quite simple kit. I'm trying to source a compressor so that I can try airbrushing for the first time ever!

Welcome back. Wondered what had happened to you. Now it's time to visit the monthly GRSMs in Joeys or the guys at Swartkop on the flying training days. You'll pick up good tips and possibly even stuff like old compressors and models from other modellers. Try also the GRSM Facebook group.

Look forward to seeing your next build :smt023

I remember you inviting me for the GRSM meets a few years back. Will definitely try to go soon! I think of Mistral every time I pass the display with the P-47 in, as well as vlamgat16 when I look at my first kit the Mirage, and Portamus when I look at my Stuka, and iamsam when I look at the Canberra. Every single kit I've done so far has a story behind its acquisition. They are the people who have further increased my liking for scale model building. Can anyone send me a link to the GRSM facebook page please :). Cheers.

72 Airfix kit?

If it is that kit, it has had plenty hands on it, and plenty of travelling miles on it's clock.

So this thread was an epic epic fail.

I thought I'd have more time this year so I could do some building.... Well it turns out that enrolling for an honours degree after my undergrad graduation took even more time off my hands....

I hope that I can continue with my next build soon.... I did start it. So that's a plus.

Let me be more honest. My graduation is this Friday. :D
If posting photos will help me secure employment, then why not.
