Hi there chaps,

Thought perhaps we could create a new thread (and get it pinned by the mods)... listing the upcoming releases of our beloved plastic addictions.

So far in 48... we're expecting:

L-29 Delfin from Avant Garde models
T-38 Talon from Wolfpack
F-1C (and rumors of an A)... from Kittyhawk
Mig-25 from Kittyhawk
Mig-31 from AMK
AH-1Z/UH-1Y from Kittyhawk
Seasprite from Kittyhawk
F-15 B/D from Great Wall Hobbies
Mig-29 9-12 or something from Great Wall hobbies
Mil Mi-2 Hoplite from Aeroplast
A-26B Invader from Musthave
Spitfire XVIe and Bf-109 G6 from Eduard

I find it quite interesting that all these new manufacturers are producing kits (and much desired and needed kits).. where the old giants of the industry have become almost lazy. The last 48er we got from Hasegawa was their F-22 (with cheese grater RAM panels)... and from Tamiya, we got their Il-2.

Eduard is becoming a more and more prominent player in the plastic market... their incredible Spitfire IX and Mig-21 are the proof in the pudding.

Im sure there are a few that I've missed... but feel free to add in!

Hopefully Dean or Kremlin can sticky this for us...

Theuns,

I am with you on that... there are a few ways to get a slatted Sabre... either you have to dig and look for the Cutting Edge slat set, or butcher a Revell F-86D for its slat set.

But can we please keep this on topic with actual kits being produced and soon to be released, rather than turn it into a wishlist thread?

Yes, Mr. T - a CL-13 in 32nd will do nicely.

Other new releases - released today - Meng 32nd scale Me163 - this is going to sell like hot cakes
Speculation of a Ho229, again in 32nd scale

What about some other great recent releases :
GWH FW189 48th
Xuntong Tupolev Tu-2 48th
Trumpeter Mig 21F-13 48th
Italeri F-104 32nd scale - to be released by December

Shad,

I must admit, that while I'm not really a fan of Russian birds... that Mig-31 is calling my name...

Greg, get the Meng 410. No doubt the Revell one is a rerelease of their previous 410 which was good. However, the Meng kit is in a different league and reasonably priced on Hobbyeasy or similar.

Thanks for the info Mistral, did you get the bunch of emails that I sent you last night about the Medevac Sea King?

I thought I would add these links to some of the new kits mentioned above, built test shot and Sprue shots:

Italeri 1/32 F-104 G/S its stunning too:- http://www.themodellingnews.com/2013/10 ... aleri.html

And a new one that I would love to have HPH 1/32 DH Hornet, scroll down to test sample :-
