Weird looking ship. Very wide and why the twin superstructures ? Anyway, there's no ways the pilot's going to miss that deck when compared to the old Invincible class carriers.

Fantastic article on the reasons for the two islands, thanks for the link.

Seems the RN is still at the forefront of carrier design, having introduced the angled deck and ski-ramp which are now copied by everyone.
