The Brazilian Patrol boat BNS Amazonas will arrive in Cape Town Friday 8 January and berth on Jetty 2. She will be open to the public on Saturday and Sunday from 1000 to 1500 on both days. She will depart on Monday 11 January.

My guess for the short visit, is because she may be heading to India for the IFR?
Or which way is she coming from?

I've been waiting to see if anyone else got pics of the Amazonas - from this trip - as I was there early Sat am, and the light was not good for photography and the ship was also rather hemmed in by a tank-barge doing fuel bunkering. Anyway here are a couple of pics from Saturday and P120 visit this weekend.

Not sure how I managed to miss this thread, but I agree the lighting is amazing.
