Naval College (Gordon’s Bay) Open Day: Sat 16 Sep 2023

The South African Navy's elite training unit, the SA Naval College will be opening its doors to the South African public on Saturday 16 September 2023. This unit is situated in the heart of Helderberg and provides leadership training to uniformed members of the South African Navy.

The unit promises to provide a programme filled with fun and entertainment for the whole family including Jumping Castles, a Firefighting Display, SA Navy Divers Display, Dog Show, Precision Drill Demonstrations, Boat Rides and many more.

The programme will commence at 08:00 with a Naval Procession (Parade) along Beach Road, starting at the BP Garage ending at the unit. Unit gates will be open to the public from 08:30 to 18:00 on 16 September 2023.

WHAT THE PUBLIC NEEDS TO KNOW ABOUT THE OPEN DAY

• The event is taking place on Saturday 16 September 2023 between 08:30 to 18:00 at the Naval College in Gordon’s Bay.
• Entrance is free.
• The SA Navy Band will provide live entertainment.
• Static displays will be present educating the public on the SA Navy.
• Refreshments will be sold.
• Strictly no alcohol allowed.
