What's the problem? Still working for me.

Only time they want more money is when you exceed the number of views/bandwidth in a month, then you have to wait until the next month for it to reset.

Or are you talking about the ad that loads when you log in? Just cancel it and carry on as normal.

No Dean, over on fine scale modler they tarted to not show any pix atall. My file is only 12% full anyway. Maybe PB and Finescale are butting heads but there are loads of guys who are moaning about OB service lately.

It's not just FSM, it's the entire www... The bottom line is that without warning, they've decided that if you want 3rd party hosting you'll have to cough up $399.

I'm now using Postimage and it works well.

Yup, that is exactly what I am getting on FSM [-X
Dean, do you not think maybe it couls start to affect your site in time?
is the no other way we can load pix directly like on avcom? Is it due to cost or security that we need a 3rd party hosting?

Wow T, first I heard of this. This will really break a lot of forums and threads.

With this backlash, I wonder if they will go through with it? $399 is a lot of money!

I'll look again at hosting photos on my website for this forum, but I'm already hitting bandwidth, storage space and budgetary limits.

Just signed up to imgbox.

As if I don't have enough to do, now I have to fix broken links.

So I have just seen that the Photobucket issue has now affected this site. Dean are you proposing that imgbox is the best new hosting site for us to move to?

I'm using imgbox for the moment. Not the easiest of sites to use, but it does allow the use of albums to group photos, so it'll do for now.
