This is the dramatic moment a classic World War Two fighter jet ripped up a runway at an air show.
The Vampire WZ507 was preparing to take off in front of hundreds of spectators at Halfpenny Green Airport, near Wolverhampton, on Sunday afternoon when the pilot accelerated.
The powerful jet engine blasted the runway, causing huge chunks of tarmac to peel off and fly into the air.

I remember from Zwartkop way back, that they started on concrete and the taxi off to runway, the heat was too much for the tarmac
