Hi there guys

I am new to this forum so I hope I have placed this topic in the correct forum. It has run in the SAAF section for a while without any replies - I have since found this sub-forum, so maybe it is more appropriate here! Back in the early 1950s a one and only Army Cooperation flying course was run. The wings issued to the newly qualified pilots are very similar to the British Army AOP (Air Observation Post pilot) wings. They were issued in cloth and brass.

I have seen reasonable photos of the cloth wings but have only seen a very grainy black and white photo of the brass wing in Curson's book. Does anyone have a decent photo of the brass wing or point me in the right direction to ask more questions about the wing?

Kind regards

Doug
