Hi RtD....gee thanks very much for the links and the id of that particular medal. At least I shall sleep well knowing I got a bargain as I got the entire batch of those medals & badges pictured for R115 at the closing down sale.
Heck I battled to to find that Iraqi medal on my searches....probably because I pinned it upside down for the photo. #-o #-o :lol: Thanks again for the info. :smt023

Medals, uniforms, history, etc goes on the Humanities desk - weapons, technology and other technical topics go to the Science desk.
