The official LHM website provide different figures than these quated above and if compared to the Oryx, HH60 is slower by a few knots and has a lower max cargo hook capacity [-X

Well you welcome to ask Mark Jackson at Leading edge..he told me last night 4tons and a bit on cargo hook.Speed over 300kmph.You must remember this aircraft is lighter than the military spec machines, its also not an HH-60,or a normal UH-60A,(lighter)a HH-60 is loaded with extra's(as is a normal UH-60A,electronic sensors, weapon mounts and so on) the HH-60 as mentioned has,air to air probe, radar,Electronic warfare, extra fuel tanks, rescue hoist to mention a few. This aircraft is unique as it was only one of two EX US Army aircraft sold so far to last year to the civil market. It out performs the Oryx in many cases, its also has better safety systems build into it,Mark even kept the IR suppression on Exhausts to prevent the tail being burnt too bad with heat during slinging fire fighting, would have been even lighter it this was removed too,Its easy to copy and past spec, not all websites are correct, every aircraft in fact differs, especially this one, differs allot from the normal Black Hawk.

Down wash seems to be far worse on the Black Hawk that is the reason.
