Excellent! =D>

Think the KC-10 routed via Cape Point, so did not come over airport.

Great catches Brent.

Not quite down the ILS, but up and around Ysters...took this last week.
C130 had an 'aggressive' take off from Ysterplaat. Turned sharply to the right, after taking off heading south.
She then came overhead, very low and headed West.
I was driving, so the photos are self explanatory

Also, I was on the golf course at Melkbos on Friday. I heard an aircraft flying low, but couldn't see it - so frustrating. Then spotted the C130 through a gap in the houses and it flew across the coastline, very, very low! What a sight, in perfect Cape Town conditions. Pity I couldn't snap a pic

Lekker pics Rosh. Always nice to see pics of the C130. It's a beautiful, reliable and very functional aircraft.

As for Kremlin's scoop, those Tornados certainly whipped up a wind storm. Those pics got us all excited down in the Cape :smt023 :smt023

We thought the German pilots would have a rest today, after their long flight yesterday ... well ... we just had two Tornados in the air with one coming down the ILS & the other on a distant left-hand approach \:D/ :D :smt023

Both were without the extra centerline long-range tanks carried yesterday.
