I'm sure the KC-10 will drop them off the wing at Overberg and continue to CPT. I suspect the German Tornadoes will shoot the ILS as well.

That's what they did on 2 previous visits. We're hoping for the same this year. They'll fly down via Ascension and Canary Islands, fly the ILS for runway 19 and then go to Overberg. All we need to know now is what day to expect them

And Gauteng hasn't seen Tornadoes since 2000 when the RAF brought down 2.

Do you remember if that was around September 2000? We had 2 Tornadoes down here on 10 September 2000 along with a Tristar, a C-130 and a Nimrod.

It was for AAD 2000 indeed, haven't had an AAD with all that variety since!!
