Hi

This topic has bee discussed briefly on other threads.

Three airshows are held at Duxford annually but Flying Legends is the recommended one to attend. I understand that the focus of Legends is on WW2 aircraft however my question is what distinguishes flying Legends from the other shows considering that the flying program 3.5 hours long?

In a nutshell, the most vintage aircraft you'll see in one spot at one time :D . Ranging from WW1 replicas, inter-war biplane, earl to late WW2 and post war piston jobs. And the grand finale, the Balbo which is the mass fly past. The years o went thete we around 25 aircraft in the Balbo. You've been to RIAT. Now go to Flying Legends. Magnificent. Only down - masses of people so get your spot early.
