I have come to a point in my life where I have to take decisions about my future.

This is just a note to all to say that I am retiring from aircraft designing.

I have been designing aircraft since FS98, and it was always a joy making it available as freeware. I will still assist and give advice to other designers with their projects from time to time, but will not actively be involved in the design of new aircraft.

I have made a lot of friends over the years, and we will remain “FS Buddies”.

I want to thank every person who ever assisted me with my projects, especially my friends in the SAAF who was always prepared to go out of their way to give photos or technical info.

Thanks for all the encouragement and positive comments and feedback. (also for the sometimes harsh remarks or commends, in a way that also encouraged me to do better)

To all my many friends and supporters over the years I say thank you.

Going from "engineer" to "consulting engineer" is a promotion, not retirement! :smt023
