Hi to all,

After a very long time i re installed flight simulator 2004 on my pc. It works perfectly fine but i want to knw how to add more aircraft. I knw you can download the packages from flightsim.com.

And after extracting you add it to the áircraft' folder.

I need to know exactly how to do it, and after doin it if it doesnt appear in the aircraft list in the game, what is wrong

All help will be appreciated

Thanks.

If you manually install the files, you will most probably find an Aircraft, Gauges and sometimes Sound and Effects folders.

You then copy and paste these folders into your FS9 folder.

Your Aircraft folder under FS9 should look like this :...\FS9\Aircraft\Your Aircraft. The model, texture, panel and sound folders with the aircraft.cfg must me in Your Aircraft

It you followed all these steps and it still does not show up in FS9, open the aircraft.cfg and verify that the following fields are available, this tells FS what it is

[fltsim.0]
title=Alabeo Pitts Blank
sim=PittsS2S
model=
panel=
sound=
texture=
kb_checklists=
kb_reference=
atc_id_color=0xffff0000
atc_id=
ui_manufacturer="Alabeo"
ui_type="Pitts S-2S"
ui_variation="Blank"

Make sure that it starts with [fltsim.0] and follow up numerical, check for duplicates or a missing [.

Is it all the aircraft or just one?
