hi all

i have a serious problem. i recently got myself fsx, but i have joystick problems

my Genius Force F-33D seems to be incompatable with windows 7... so there goes some serious cash down the drain.

i have another Genius (unknown model) here too, but that seems to not want to roll to the left at all.

so... new joystick i think. any suggestions on something that will work nicely with fsx AND windows 7 AND the bank account?

If you are a somewhat serious, casual flyer, I suggest the Logitech 3D Pro. It a very robust joystick, I used it for both FSX and flying in Battlefield 3(which can be pretty hard on a joystick) and it still lasted about 3 years. I recently bought another, more expensive joystick with some additional fancy features(such as a dual throttle), but I still miss the 3D Pro. It simply grips the table, you really have to work on it to lift it from the table, and the movements of the stick feels more smooth. Even the little throttle is not that big hassle. It also features a twist grip rudder action.

I have my second one, and already bought a new one, and it is in storage until the current one goes... Or: incase Logitech is so stupid to discontinue it....
