Hi, I'm new to this forum but I've read almost everything. I really enjoy Combat Flight Simulator III but all the airplanes are WWII aircraft. Does anybody know any flight simulators for Windows 7 Premium? Any info will be helpful, thanks! :D

Hi, if you give your PC specs, it would help a lot.

DCS World and Lock On are modern combat simulations. http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/world/

FS2004 is still going strong, with many different types of aircraft available, but its not really a combat sim.

FSX is the same, but the level of sophistication that some of the aircraft have, makes up for the lack of combat. A2A's Accusim comes to mind, although at this stage its mostly Warbirds. FSX however need a rather powerful PC.

Yes, Lock-on is one of the best, bet for me the most realistic combat flightsim is Falcon 4 :smt023

:smt031 Okay, thank you. There's not much I can say about my computer, all I know is that it's a Toshiba laptop that uses Windows 7 Home premium. It's pretty much the same as the first day it arrived, save for the heavy metal music that I've added, nothing important. There's nothing special about it, it works just fine. It also doesn't have any internet so I'll have trouble getting access to the flight sim's, but I'll manage. Again, thank you to everyone who replied. It's great knowing there's people here willing to share their mutual love for aviation, like a family that I CAN choose! :-)

Go to system properties (http://pc.net/helpcenter/answers/view-s ... -windows-7)
Take note of the Processor and Memory (RAM) values and post them here, I'm sure someone will help you.

The computer: two thousand. The flight sim: a hundred bucks.
Next I'm gonna buy a five hundred Rand iPhone. :-) 8)

Also the Strike Fighter series are very entertaining and don't use terribly high system specs and have windows 7 compatible versions, scroll through all three pages.

Ok, that didn't help much - the laptop was second hand wasn't it?

Right click my computer and note as much info as you can. Especially CPU and RAM...

No actually, it ISN'T second hand. Plus it'll have to wait anyway, I need to focus on school… and joining the SAAF.
