Can anyone suggest a good freeware AI package for South African airports and also for airforce bases if possible.

Hey Nathan,

Visit MAIW for the Gripens and Hawk AI. http://www.militaryaiworks.com/

As for the rest of the AI, I think FS9 AI work on FSX, not exactly sure.

You should look for the packages, http://www.interkultur.de/gossmann/fsx/maiw.php. These are normally self installers.

Hello.

I just want to point out that everything listed on the MAIW section of my website is the sole work of the MAIW team. But I have written a detailed tutorial how to install MAIW packages in FSX, again available at the download center on my site. The only AI aircraft I have published myself are the F-104 OwlAI packages that you can find at The Owls Nest, AVSim and FlightSim.

Maybe you like two check out the two latest additions... a list of repaints and military AI (>450) not included in the MAIW packages: Other AI and a new AI world map.

This link leads to The Owl's Nest

Thanks, I was directed from the MAIW website to that link when I searched for the downloads.

Will have a look, extra aircraft crowding the skies are always welcome.
